Parent-Child Hunts
The Heritage Program’s Parent-Child Hunts have finally arrived! This fall and winter, events include Dove Hunts, Deer Hunts, and Duck Hunts.
Dove Hunts
These Friday- Saturday sessions will feature a morning sporting clays warm-up and a guided afternoon dove hunt. We will provide meals and lodging. There will be ammunition available for purchase. Participants are encouraged to bring their own shotguns, but range guns will be available.

Deer Hunts
These Friday- Saturday sessions are all about deer hunting with two hunting opportunities (morning/afternoon). Each parent/child group is allowed 1 buck, 8 points or better, and one doe. We will provide meals, hands-on learning of field dressing of deer, and lodging. Hunters must provide their own rifle and ammunition.

Duck Hunts
These Friday-Saturday sessions are another great guided duck hunting option that takes place on the Boyd Camp property at the Wildlife Education Center. At these hunts, you will arrive the evening before the hunt to settle in and await your assignment of a blind. There will then be a presentation about hunting skills with social time around the fire.
