The mission of Camp Woodie is to pass on our wildlife heritage to the next generation.
Camp Woodie was established by the South Carolina Waterfowl Association in 1995. Camp Woodie is achieving its mission with the help of expert staff and instructors who deliver hands-on, fun-filled education to the next generation of outdoorsmen and women.
Campers will take part in activities like shotgun sports, rifle shooting, archery, fishing, canoeing, swimming, and so much more! Camp Woodie hosts week-long sessions for junior campers, ages 7-11, and senior campers, ages 12-16. Campers age 10 and older have the opportunity to obtain their SCDNR Hunter’s Safety Certification while at camp at no extra charge.
The cost of tuition does not have to be paid in full when you register! There are monthly payment plans available to ease the financial burden of sending your child to summer camp. Financial assistance is also available by contacting email@example.com. Be sure to include your completed Financial Assistance Application and “Financial Assistance” in the subject line of the email.

“Just wanted to say thank you again for the camp. The educational aspect is phenomenal, as are the facilities. As for the staff, I can’t say enough about your team’s kindness and their supportive nature towards the kids. They are a great group of role models for these children. They are kind, enthusiastic, supportive, smart, and responsible, they possess the qualities we want to instill in our children as they grow up.”-JOHN, Camp Woodie Parent
